Becoming acquainted with the people working in the field can be of great value. This is very much a part of
the CMIA concept. As a member you can benefit from meeting those in your
area who share common concerns. They may be sources of expertise in
solving problems that confront you. Group discussions often develop
during meetings because a member has been introduced to others who can
provide advice on a problem, the name of a supplier, or an opinion on
equipment.
CMIA offers membership opportunities for continuing education, improving
one's knowledge of a growing and ever changing discipline. Your
