CMIA Inland Chapter Meeting Notice

You are invited to attend the April meeting of the Inland Chapter of CMIA.  This is the first of a series of meetings about Anesthesia Equipment.  The meeting will start at 6 PM and dinner will soon follow.  At 6:45 I will give a brief review of my recent trip to Afghanistan including the state health care and biomed in that country.  Our President, Ken Jackson will lead a short business meeting starting at 7:00.  The presentation will focus on Anesthesia physiological monitoring equipment including anesthetic gas and agent analyzers.  CMIA members in attendance at each of the Anesthesia training series will receive a certificate of attendance.  More information about Philips monitoring equipment can be found on the following web site: http://www.medical.philips.com/main/products/patient_monitoring/industry/hospital/anesthesia_care/index.html

Directions: LLUMC is located in Loma Linda, 1 mile west of the I-10 freeway at the Anderson/Tippecanoe off ramp. Proceed South on Anderson and follow the signs to the main entrance of the MC. The Schuman Pavilion room, SP-A611 is located to the right of the main entrance, below the International Heart Institute. There are stairs and an elevator in that wing. There will be directional signs at the main entrance.

Be sure to mark you calendars for the meeting next month on May 11 when we will present a program on anesthesia machines.
